From fundraisers hosted by Bittersweet, to local events benefitting Bittersweet, to community events where you can purchase products crafted by Bittersweet participants…there are always opportunities to get involved and support our mission!

Music Vine Concert Series

Join us for live music at the Grand Rapids Town Hall in downtown Grand Rapids, Ohio (24316 Front St., Grand Rapids, OH 43522—Town Hall is located across the street) every Friday from 11:30am-1:00pm. This event is free and open to the public, so bring your favorite rhythm instrument and your dancing shoes and get ready to rock!

Please note: pop and coffee are not permitted at Music Vine. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thanks to the Historical Society of Grand Rapids and the Grand Rapids Arts Council for sponsoring our use of the Town Hall during the cooler months!

Please note: in May, Music Vine moves back to the Pavilion at Bittersweet Farms (12660 Archbold-Whitehouse Rd., Whitehouse, OH 43571)! As the weather gets warmer, pack your picnic and join us for lunch, music, and dancing here at the Farm!

Monthly Public Tours

Historical, Consulting, and Donor Tours

Historical, consulting, and donor tours take place on the 1st Wednesday of the month (May-November) at 10am. This tour is ideal for individuals and groups interested in replicating our groundbreaking farmstead model/M.A.P.S. philosophy elsewhere in the country or world; families considering residential services; those interested in a detailed, in-depth historical perspective of Bittersweet Farms; or current and future donors. Reservations are required, contact Tammy Chambers to make a reservation.

Whitehouse Day Program Tours

Day Program tours take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1-2pm and the 4th Thursday of the month from 10-11am. This tour is ideal for families/individuals considering Day Program services at Bittersweet Farms. Reservations are required, contact Mallory Dockery to make a reservation.
