While it may be helpful, it is not necessary to have previous experience serving individuals with autism. Interested candidates should, however, already possess the work ethic and compassion required for this unique environment. Additionally, year-round outdoor and physical activity is an important part of Bittersweet’s philosophy and farmstead model. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk up to five miles.

Bittersweet Farms is seeking an Executive Assistant to work full-time at our Whitehouse location. The Executive Assistant will provide executive-level administrative support to the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director. Maintenance Specialist-Whitehouse, OH
Bittersweet Farms, a world-renowned leader in serving adults and adolescents with autism located in Whitehouse, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This position customarily works first shift hours (8AM-4PM) however, needs may arise outside of regular hours, such as snow removal needs or maintenance emergencies, which may require working outside of typical working hours. This full time position will perform various janitorial, maintenance, and grounds keeping functions within the facilities of Bittersweet while assisting in the maintenance department as needed. This position requires a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
