Bittersweet Farms Partners with Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity to Build Playhouse for Local Family Touched by Autism

Whitehouse, OH— Join us on Friday, September 23rd as Bittersweet partners with Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity for the second year in a row to build a playhouse for a local family touched by autism. The mission of Bittersweet Farms is to positively impact the lives of individuals with autism and those whose lives they touch.  Bittersweet participants and staff are excited to build a playhouse specifically for a local family with a child on the autism spectrum.

The build will take place on Friday, September 23rd from 9:30am-4:30pm at Bittersweet Farms in Whitehouse (12660 Archbold-Whitehouse Rd., Whitehouse, OH 43571). The day’s activities will conclude with the recipient family visiting the Farm to receive their playhouse and to meet the Bittersweet participants who participated in the project. The media is invited to attend this event to capture behind-the-scenes footage of the build and to capture the family’s reaction upon seeing their brand new playhouse for the first time.

What: Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Project Build at Bittersweet Farms

When: Friday, September 23rd from 9:30am-4:30pm. The playhouse will be presented to the recipient family at 4:00pm.

Where: 12660 Archbold-Whitehouse Rd., Whitehouse, OH 43571. The build will take place in the Pavilion in front of the main parking lot on site.
