Whitehouse, OH…Bittersweet Farms is thrilled to announce the appointment of its sixth Executive Director, Megan Thompson. Megan’s background is grounded in research and best practices for individuals with autism.
Megan has over 12 years of experience working as an Intervention Specialist, with a focus on supporting individuals with autism. She also has spent six years as a faculty member at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), where she was hired to coordinate the graduate Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate and master's program
As she begins her journey with Bittersweet, Megan says, “I am deeply committed to the mission and vision of Bittersweet Farms. I believe in the transformative power of our work and the incredible impact we can achieve together. I look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundation that has been laid, working collaboratively with our dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters to drive positive change in our community. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
As the organization embarks on this new chapter, Bittersweet is encouraged by Megan’s strategic planning and organizational development experience. With her leadership and the collective effort of the entire team, the organization is poised to achieve new heights of impact and service to its mission of positively impacting the lives of individuals with autism and those whose lives they touch.
